MAKEUP POLICY

Learning a musical instrument requires lots of commitment and self-discipline. At Kayoung An Piano Studio, students must practice regularly (5 days a week) for at least 20 minutes. Parents are responsible for supervising and helping students to complete weekly assignments. Required daily practice time varies per student's age and level. Therefore, daily practice hours should be increased as the student’s level increases.

2+ years of structured piano training experience required to enroll in the studio

A refundable deposit (one-time lesson fee) will be required upon enrolling in the studio in case of sudden cancellation.

Kayoung An Piano Studio will stay open when snow accumulates less than 5 inches. When public schools are closed for snow, studio make-up lessons will be arranged during the makeup weeks.

Late cancelation (less than 24 hours notice) cannot be made up – No Exceptions.
Lessons canceled by students with 24 hours notice will be rescheduled
Lessons missed due to teacher absence or studio closings will be rescheduled

Every lesson starts ON TIME. Please arrive a couple of minutes before the lesson time.

In-person lessons are offered on a Steinway B piano and Yamaha Grand GH1 series. Virtual lessons are also possible for the same rates below.
